Kepler-411 Star Activity: Connection between Starspots and Superflares

چکیده

Abstract Stellar magnetic activity, just like that of the Sun, manifests itself in form flares and spots on surface star. In solar case, largest originate from large active regions. this work, we present a study activity star Kepler-411, including spot modeling planetary transits. Our goal was to search for connection between area starspots with energy superflares produced by Kepler-411 is K2V-type an average rotation period 10.52 days, radius 0.79 R ⊙ , mass 0.83 M which observed Kepler satellite about 600 days. Starspots and spin - orbit alignment for Kepler cool host stars

The angle between the spin axis of the host star and the orbit of its planets (i.e., the stellar obliquity) is precious information about the formation and evolution of exoplanetary systems. Measurements of the Rossiter-McLaughlin effect revealed that many stars that host a hot-Jupiter have high obliquities, suggesting that hot-Jupiter formation involves excitation of orbital inclinations. In t...

The Hot-jupiter Kepler-17b: Discovery, Obliquity from Stroboscopic Starspots, and Atmospheric Characterization

This paper reports the discovery and characterization of the transiting hot giant exoplanet Kepler17b. The planet has an orbital period of 1.486 days, and radial velocity measurements from the HobbyEberly Telescope show a Doppler signal of 419.5 −15.6 ms . From a transit-based estimate of the host star’s mean density, combined with an estimate of the stellar effective temperature Teff=5630± 100...

A Star of Connection Between Pancreatic Cancer and Diabetes: Adrenomedullin

Pancreatic cancer belongs to the most aggressive cancer types, with an incidence rate equallig mortality rate. It is well‐known that type 2 diabetes is a significant risk factor for pancreatic cancer. Interestingly, several studies have shown that pancreatic cancer can also lead to type 2 diabetes, as part of the pancreatic cancer induced paraneoplastic syndrome. Multiple factors have been prop...

The connection between X–ray Clusters and Star Formation

The properties of X-ray clusters of galaxies can be well understood in terms of a competition between shock heating and adiabatic compression. Strong shocks are expected to be important for massive clusters, while adiabatic compression is dominant for small clusters and groups. The scale of the shock/adiabatic transition is marked by a change of slope of the L–T relation and in the global prope...

The Connection between Rotation and Activity

Thirty years ago, stellar astronomers were aware that chromospheric activity, rotation, and magnetism depended on the age of a star, but they lacked a theoretical framework to explain how these properties are physically linked to each other. Progress in solar astronomy changed all that, identifying the central role played by the dynamo through its interactions with convection. In this talk I wi...
